Flue Direct has been active in the pub trade for 20 years plus and we are proud to service many of the largest pub chains on a Nationwide basis. Our clients work in partnership with Flue Direct and we have rolling Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs in place with our clients. This allows pub property managers to have piece of mind around compliance and duty of care on safety on all their stoves, log burners and open fires. When an inspection is completed our automated customer booking platform will automatically raise a reminder for re inspection 90 days before the end of the HETAS test certificate date. During our routine inspection and chimney sweeping we will inspect the stove and the performance of the flue. If a chimney fan is installed this will also be tested and serviced were required. Our technicians will check that your carbon monoxide alarms are functioning correctly and up to current safety regulations.

Planned preventative maintenance is the key to ensuring your stoves & log burners continues to perform at their best and safely. PPM allows issues to be rectified on routine service schedules that could save time and money in the future. All works come with a full site survey and Pass/Fail certification, which is issued by our technicians who will prepare a report with photographic evidence of flue conditions and stove condition. From time to time follow on work will be required to allow a pass certificate to be issued.

Follow On Work & Emergency Call Out Service

Follow on work (FOW) when required will be fully detailed to the client giving a full break down of why an appliance or flue has failed certification. Flue direct head office will email a detailed report on what parts are required to bring the site back to a pass status for certification and safety purposes. Flue Direct will also provide photographs of defective components when possible. FOW will only be undertaken once the work has been approved by our clients. FOW will be scheduled at the earliest convenience for the client once parts have been allocated to job, we will book a technician to complete the work and issue the pass test certification.

Flue Direct also offer 247/365 call out to our contracted commercial clients. Should a chimney fire occur or the failure of a chimney fan this can affect the functioning of the venue, Flue direct will advise on best options to get the site back up and running even over the weekend & bank holidays. We are always available to assist by phone or email and most issues can be addressed quickly to bring the site back to full functionality. One of the technical team are available on call each and every day of the year….
